Police: Stabbing Investigated; Vandalism on Lynnfield Street, Bricks Thrown Through the Front Window of a House

Friday, Jan. 9
At 3:30 p.m., motor vehicle accident on Howley Street. Three vehicles involved. One adult and one juvenile were transported to different area hospitals with injuries. One vehicle was towed.
At 5:36 p.m., larceny from motor vehicle at Tedeschi’s on Lowell Street. Walk-in reported that her prescription medication was stolen from her vehicle.
At 5:35 p.m., three-vehicle accident reported on Wallis Street. No injuries. paperwork exchanged.
At 9:31 p.m., larceny reported on Jefferson Road.
Saturday, Jan. 10
At 3:36 a.m., assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at Leather City Commons on Lowell Street.Store manager reported a man came into the store and stated he had been stabbed. Stabbing victim was bleeding from the arm. Officer reported that victim was stabbed in the back of his arm and head. Victim was not cooperating with the investigation. He was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
At 10:17 a.m., motor vehicle accident on King Street.
At 11:02 a.m., three vehicles vandalized at Wallis School Apartments on Sewall Street.
At 11:12 a.m., vandalism reported on Lynnfield Street. Two bricks were thrown through the front window, unknown object thrown through the bedroom window. Damages estimated at $3,300.
At 11:55 a.m., multi-vehicle accident with injuries investigated on Washington Street. All three drivers were transported to area hospitals. All three vehicles were towed.
At 1:09 p.m., cellphone left in a taxi turned in to police.
At 6:57 p.m., vandalism reported on Jackson Avenue. Woman reported that she witnessed her son’s tires being slashed. Unknown vehicle; occupied by a female driver. One of the two men in the vehicle, Richard M. Allain, 26, of Peabody, and will be issued summons for malicious damage over $250.
At 7:22 p.m., attempted shoplifting investigated at Macy’s. Officer stated over $1,000 worth of North Face Jackets were recovered. Officer has to further investigate. Reading Police were asked to do a notification for the suspect to contact Peabody Officer D. Bettencourt.
Sunday, Jan. 11
At 7:25 a.m., motor vehicle accident on Second Avenue. One party transported to an area hospital. One vehicle towed.
At 9:11 a.m., vandalism reported on Sabino Farm Road. Caller reported tires slashed on car, and was car was egged.
