Police: Two Men Shoplifted Rum, Vehicles Stuck in Snowbanks, Winter Parking Ban Violations

Sunday, Feb. 8
At 2:22 p.m., traffic complaint in Toys “R” Us parking lot. Received a report of a blue Audi doing doughnuts in the parking lot. The vehicle got stuck in a snowbank.
At 4:51 p.m., fight on tanners Court. Fourth-party caller reported that there was a fight outside, Officer stated there was a verbal argument two women. One party left the area prior to the arrival of the officer,

At 7:46 p.m., shoplifting at McNamara’s Liquors on Foster Street. Report that two men stole a bottle of Captain Morgan rum valued at $27.
Monday, Feb. 9

At 6:17 am., motor vehicle stop on Central Street. Jose Pellot-Acevedo, 35, of Lynn, was summonsed for operating after suspension.
At 9”26 a.m., traffic hazard on Tremont Street. Report of a tractor trailer truck jackknifed in the roadway. Officer arrived and stated the truck did not jackknife, but got stuck while attempting to make a turn. Officer directed the driver back out to Route 114.
At 1:21 p.m., car into snowbank on Lynn Street. A few citizens were able to push the vehicle out of the snowbank. Vehicle owner will be cited for the expired registration.
At 1:27 p.m. car towed from Kenwood Road for parking ban violation.
