Police: Vandalism to Vehicles; Hit and Run Accident; Complaints About Dogs Barking

Tuesday, April 28
At 2:05 p.m., animal control officer on Rockway Road. Two people complained on Monday that a Rockway resdient allows her dogs to run loose and bark excessively. They were advised that the woman recently adopted a Lab-Shepherd puppy, Officer advised the reporting parties to call when the violation is occurring. Officer mailed a notice of complaint, and a copy of the city’s barking ordinance.
At 4:35 p.m., vandalism on Russell Street. Vandalism to vehicles.

At 7:11 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street. Heather Reis, 36, of Peabody, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registrations, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, one municipal motor vehicle ordinance violation and warrant.
At 7:29 p.m., hit and run accident at Tannery Gardens on Foster Street. Car struck the foundation, and fled. Shaina Doberman, 31, of Salem, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Wednesday, April 29
At 6:46 a.m., vandalism on Fulton Street. Caller reported damage to his fence. Caller reports that their fence was damaged. Officer reported the orange plastic safety/security fence was ripped. Reporting party just wanted the issue noted as the construction requirement by the city.
At 12:09 p.m., cellphone lost on Johnson Street.
At 12:19 p.m., party reported the theft of his gym bag with his Massachusetts driver’s license, social security card, Discover and Wells Fargo card, keys and clothing.
At 1:50 p.m., hit and run on Crane Brook Way. Damage to the drivers side door and mirror.
