Police: Woman Nabbed For Passing a School Bus; Two-Alarm Fire on Prsopect Street; Handicap Parking Citations Issued at Northshore Mall

At 2:02 p.m., larceny at Nordstrom. Stolen cellphone. Victim provided a description of the suspects, a man and woman in their 20s. Officer caught up to the pair. Suspect claimed that he took the cell phone by mistake thinking it was his girlfriend’s. He was trespassed from the mall for one year.
At 3:29 p.m., motor vehicle stop at Colfax Street and Washington Street. Vehicle pulled over for passing a school bus. Deanna Borders, 33, of Salem, summonsed for operating after suspension of license and passing a school bus. vehicle towed.

At 8:38 p.m., structure fire at 80 Prospect Street. Second alarm called. National Grid notified for an odor of gas. PMLP notified. MassDOT notified for icing on Andover and Prospect streets.

At 7:26 a.m., minor motor vehicle accident on Johnson Street.
