Renaissance Gardens Staff Make Easter Baskets for Lynn Community Health Center

People who live at Renaissance Gardens in Peabody and their families recently gathered together to make Easter Basket for the children of the Lynn Community Health Center.

 More than 30 baskets were made and donated to Lynn Community Health Center.

“Mercy Simpson, a Renaissance Gardens Assisted Care weekend nurse, works at the Center weekdays and arranged for this partnership,” said Regina Currid.  “The idea came from two staff members, Cindy Fowler who suggested the residents fill baskets as an activity and Darlene Bacheller, who expanded the idea to include family.  Everyone loved the idea so we were thrilled to be able to help the Lynn Community Health Center.” 

John Johnstone, the Facility Manager of the Lynn Community Health Center, came to Renaissance Gardens to pick up the baskets. 

Renaissance Gardens offers private assisted care apartments and private skilled nursing residences (including a dementia neighborhood known as Assisted Care PLUS) at Brooksby Village. 

People who live at Renaissance Gardens find a staff of full time physicians on-site, nurse practitioners, licensed nurses and a physician on call 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  In an effort to provide enrichment, Renaissance Gardens offers private apartments, dining rooms, enclosed porches and living rooms.

In addition, there is also a recreation space on each floor and a secure garden area.  Staffing is above state regulations and averages in order to provide a higher level of quality care. Both Brooksby Village residents and those who are not permanent residents to the community may be admitted for short term rehabilitation services.
