Save the Date: Peabody Pride Spring Volunteer Community Cleanup

A free pizza lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. to all volunteers at the Leather City Common.

The annual Peabody Pride spring volunteer community cleanup will be held on Saturday, May 16 in downtown Peabody.

Volunteers are invited to pick up supplies at 9 a.m. at City Hall, and then fan out to targeted areas throughout downtown. A free pizza lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. to all volunteers at the Leather City Common.

The cleanup effort marks the continuation of Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt Jr.’s ‘Peabody Pride in Motion’ initiative.

In the event of inclement weather on May 16, the cleanup will be held on May 30. Volunteers can check the city’s website, www.peabody-ma.gov for announcements.rake
