Save the Dates: Peabody Summer Concert Series Schedule

The first concert will be held at East End Veterans Memorial Park. The rest of the concerts will be held at: The Leather City Common.

The first concert of the summer will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, from at the East End Veterans Memorial Park located on Walnut Street.



  • OVERDRIVE - THURSDAY, JULY 2NDoverdrive2.pngOverdrive is an eight-piece band with a tight and incredibly funky rhythm section as the driving force behind a killer four-piece horn section that features two trumpets, woodwinds, and trombone. Dance music from the past three decades, music by Chicago, Tower of Power, the Average White Band, all the number one brass-rock hits, and a large selection of swing and songs from the Stax and Motown eras make up an exciting and exhausting performance.

BEANTOWN SWING ORCHESTRA - SUNDAY, AUGUST 16THbeantown.pngThe Beantown Swing Orchestra features John Stevens and Erika Van Pelt, American Idol finalists, Jen Hirsh, American Idol semifinalist, and jazz vocalist Laura Brunner. The group performs vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics as well as popular and original songs custom arranged for big band music.

HORIZONS AND THE HORNS - SUNDAY, AUGUST 23RDoverdrive2.pngHorizons and the Horns is a fun, energetic and most importantly entertaining cover band that can play anything from the Blues Brothers to Chicago, or Bonnie Rait to Lady Gaga. The band Horizon started playing in the Greater Boston Area in the 70s and has been getting people off their feet to dance to the music for over 30 years.
