Somerville Man Arrested on Warrant, Failure to Pay Tab

The following are excerpts from reports in the press log from Sept. 28-29.
Wednesday, Sept. 28
- 3:48 p.m. A 15-year-old juvenile female was arrested for domestic assault and battery, following a a repot of a domestic incident at a residence.
- 4:33 p.m. A caller reported finding what appeared to be an abandoned moped at . The vehicle did not have a serial number nor Vehicle Identification Number.
- 5:56 p.m. A caller reported two youths were tossing a football across Main Street near the . Police were unable to find any youths in the area.
- 7:57 p.m. A caller on Lowe Street reported her son's scooter was stolen. Police identified the culprit and said that person was given until the following day to return the scooter.
- 9:01 p.m. David W. Goodrich, 53, of 32 Princeton St., Somerville, was arrested on a warrant and for defrauding an innkeeper. Staff at Joe's American Bar & Grill reported a male customer left without paying his $81 bill, but they were able to get the man to come back to the restaurant. The only problem was that he had no money with which to pay. The warrant was out of Somerville District Court.
- 10:53 p.m. A caller at a mobile home park on Route 1 reported the front window of her unit was smashed.
- 11:08 p.m. Randy Dillon, 21, of 154 Washington St., Peabody, was arrested on Main Street near after he was stopped on his motorcycle by police. Dillon was charged with operating a vehicle with a revoked license, attaching plates, operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle and on a motorcycle equipment violation.
Thursday, Sept. 29
- 3:10 a.m. A crew responded to a report of water main break at the corner of Gardner Street and Burnham Road.
- 7:22 a.m. A caller at A1 Restaurant Trader on Foster Street reported his truck was broken into. Several breakers and fuses were stolen.
- 1:50 p.m. A 22-year-old Peabody man was issued a summons, following a motor vehicle stop at the mall.
