St. Vasilios Greek Festival Returns to Peabody This Weekend
The festival takes place this upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church of Peabody is asking the public to join them on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 6, 7, & 8 in the church’s Rev. Andrew J. Demotses Educational Center for the Annual Greek Festival.
Greek cuisine will be abundant with such favorites as roast lamb, oven-roasted lamb shanks, Greek-style stuffed peppers, baked haddock, pasticchio, moussaka, authentic gyro with Tzatziki, Souvlakia and Spanokopita, as well as a full bar. And don’t miss the delicious sweets that includes Kafenio - Baklava, Diples, Galaktobouriko, Kourambiethes, Finikia, Greek Coffee and liqueurs and everyone’s favorite, Loukoumades.
For those who love to dance, live Greek music will fill the center on Friday and Saturday nights, and a performance of traditional folk dancing on Saturday should not be missed, as well as the Greek School Children’s group showing their dancing talents on Sunday afternoon. Shopping and vendor booths will offer jewelry, clothing, religious items, fall décor, plants, pumpkins and other various merchandise to browse and buy. A children’s room with organized crafts and live entertainment will ensure fun for kids of all ages.
