Stage One Alumni Will Reunite To Benefit Black Box In Peabody
Alumni Night will be June 24th at ArcWorks Community Art Center

Alumni of Peabody High School’s drama club, Stage One, are coming home to raise money for a Black Box Theater in downtown Peabody.
Several months ago, Northeast Arc announced plans to construct a black box in an old warehouse in the rear of their ArcWorks Community Art Center at 22 Foster Street. Representatives from the Arc, city officials, community leaders, and members of the local arts scene have made a good dent in meeting their fundraising goal. The committee - Friends of the Black Box - have organized two successful events in the proposed space and have plans for an Improv Night on May 18 with the help of Peabody Cultural Collaborative.
Once the project is complete the Black Box will be able to be used for plays, open mics, receptions, business gatherings, and other special events.
