Strap on Your Snowshoes and Head to the Farm
What's 2-3 feet of freshly fallen snow good for? Snowshoe racing, of course.
All that snow dumped by this weekend's blizzard was good news as far as the 2nd Annual Snowshoe Classic at Brooksby Farm was concerned.
Peabody Recreation staff say the 5K race is still on for Sunday morning. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., the race starts at 10 a.m. and it costs $25 per person.
"Come take on this amazing 5K course through orchard and woods! Same day registrations welcome! Snowshoe rentals available!" says the staff via Facebook.
