On Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Old Town Hall (indoor) and Derby Square (outdoor) transform into a curated marketplace featuring nearly 30 local makers, artists, and small businesses from across the North Shore and beyond. This isn't a generic vendor fair. This is a market built around the people who pour their whole selves into what they create — the jewelers, the painters, the candlemakers, the bakers, the ceramicists, the designers who turned a passion into a business and a business into a community.
Shop handmade jewelry, original art, specialty foods, candles, ceramics, clothing, home goods, and more. This year's hand-selected lineup includes illustrator Karen Hallion, Sarah Kelly Ceramics, Dragonfly Candle &amp; Soap Co, Peace Florals, The Hippie Bean Co., Why Not Jewelry by Kirsty, Jack Attackk Clothing, Lory Sun Artistry, Wildwood Bindery, Alder &amp; Spice, Strawberry Oddities, and The Witchery — alongside more than a dozen more makers across both venues. This session features a fun cat or dog sunset painting. Students will be guided step-by-step to create a beautiful acrylic masterpiece on stretched 11x14 canvas.&nbsp;

Olesea is a seasoned art teacher with over 30 years of experience, a fine artist, and graphic designer who owns and runs “Olesea’s Art Studio” in Swampscott, MA. With degrees in oil and watercolor painting from a fine arts university in Moldova and digital art direction from the University of Massachusetts, she combines classical artistic training with a modern creative approach.
Her work includes commissioned paintings, custom indoor and outdoor murals, art instruction for children and adults, and creative design for businesses and events. Through her studio, she brings together fine art, design, and community creativity in a warm and inspiring environment.
