Sweetheart of a Race This Sunday

Sweetheart's snowshoe classic turns into trail run.

[The following announcement was submitted by Peabody Recreation, Parks and Forestry Director Jennifer Davis.]

Instead of snowshoes, put your trail running shoes on. The race is still on!

Join us Sunday, Feb. 19 at Brooksby Farm for our 5K trail run through the orchards and the farm land. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with a start time of 10 a.m. All ages are encouraged to participate.

Be prepared for uneven terrain. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers and top finisher in each age category, male and female.

We also have two surprise awards to be awarded. Prizes range from REI gear to jams and jellies from the farm to restaurant certificates and more! In addition, all runners are entered into the Brooksby Farm Pie Raffle.
