Wakefield man arrested at Northshore Mall for allegedly running out of Sears with a TV.

PEABODY, MA - A Wakefield man is facing shoplifting charges after he allegedly ran out of Sears with a television at the Northshore Mall early Thursday evening.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Peabody police got a call from Sears loss prevention about a man who took a television and ran out of the store with it. It was reported that he was seen running in the direction of Sears Automotive across the parking lot.
The suspect was described as a skinny white male wearing a brown, zip-up type jacket and was seen putting the television down near a car in the parking lot.

When police arrived at the mall, they arrested Matthew Tarpey, 27, of 17 Millbrook Lane in Wakefield and charged him with larceny over $250.
