Talent Show Auditions to be Held for Stars on Main
Peabody Downtown Association seeks acts for "Stars On Main" talent show to benefit, in part, the Adam L. Slaven Memorial Scholarship Fund.

They say America’s got talent, but how about you? Are you a singer? Dancer? Juggler? A violin virtuoso? A budding master magician, perhaps? Whatever your talent, the Peabody Downtown Associations wants you to sign up to strut your stuff at the Stars On Main, a night of fun and entertainment for all ages to benefit, in part, the Adam L. Slaven Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Grand prize winner to receive a 1 year Talent Contract with WSM Talent Agency (www.wsmtalent.com)!
Stars On Main will be held on Feb. 21 at the Upper hall of the Knights of Columbus building, 96 Main St., Peabody. To be part of the evenings cavalcade of performers simply audition between 6 and 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at the Knights of Columbus. Acts aged 10+ of all abilities and modes of artistic expression are welcome.

Entrants must provide via media source an example of talent along with a labeled current photo to Audition on Jan. 9. Those wishing to participate and who are unable to audition must contact the Peabody Downtown Association at peabodydowntownassociation@gmail.com PRIOR to January 2nd .
Proof of age is required at registration.

Proceeds from the event will benefit, in part, the Adam L. Slaven Scholarship. A 1996 Peabody Veterans Memorial High School graduate and captain of the Tanners hockey team, Adam died in 2003 from complications from an auto accident.
Established in 2003, the scholarship fund awards three $1,000 scholarships for graduates of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School who plan to pursue a career in at least one of the following areas of interest: ice hockey music technology or graphic arts media, and auto body repair and mechanics.
Tickets to Stars On Main can b purchased for $10 general admission, $5 for children 12 and under, at the door or directly from performers. Tickets may also be ordered online via email at peabodydowntownassociation@gmail.com.
