Tanners' Field Hockey Enters Postseason in Natick

Peabody enters postseason play this week against the Natick Red and Blue.

The field hockey club wrapped up its regular season play on Saturday, defeating Everett and now enters the postseason seeded 11th out of 17 teams in the Division I North tournament.

The Lady Tanners (10-5-3) head to Natick Thursday to take on the No. 6 seeded Red and Blue (14-3-1) in a first-round contest. The winner of that game plays the winner of the Weston vs. Reading match-up, which will be held earlier that same afternoon.

The majority of games ending in the win column for Peabody was a vast and no doubt welcome improvement over . The field hockey club was also helmed this year by new head coach Pam Grant.
