The Schedule of International Entertainment

Here is the schedule of festivities this Sunday for Peabody's International Festival.

The kicks off in Peabody Square this Sunday with more than 70 booths for vendors and loads of entertainment and food.

There is a chance of showers early in the morning, but the rest of the day shouuld be partly sunny and 76. The festival is scheduled to run 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The main ceremony takes place in Peabody Square at 2:30 p.m. Dana Sheridan will sing the National Anthem, followed by welcoming comments and introductions from festival co-chairmen Michael Zellen and Barry Osborne. The keynote speaker is Mayor Ted Bettencourt and John Tierney is also slated to speak.

The Peter Torigian Memorial International Festival Award will then be presented by the Torigian family.
