Veterans Day Breakfast Will Be On Nov. 11

This year's Veterans Day Breakfast will feature a special commemoration for veterans of the Vietnam War.

PEABODY, MA – The Peabody Veterans Day Breakfast will take place on Friday, Nov. 11, at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall. The breakfast will honor all Peabody residents who served America in the armed forces and will include a special commemoration for veterans of the Vietnam War.

“The men and women who have served our country in the armed forces deserve our respect, recognition and gratitude,” said Mayor Ted Bettencourt in a news release. “During this year’s breakfast we will honor those veterans who served our country in the Vietnam War. These brave men and women answered their country’s call to service during a particularly difficult period in our country’s history.”

Veterans are asked to contact the Veterans Services office at 978-538-5928 to reserve tickets.

There is a limit of two tickets per household. Following the breakfast, the annual Veterans Day memorial ceremony will take place in front of City Hall at approximately 11:00 a.m.
