Volunteers Walk on Mother's Day to Raise Awareness About Breast Cancer

The Pink Power walk drew scores of people who walked to remember loved ones lost to the disease and to support others who are battling it.

Moms and their children, breast cancer survivors and those who lost loved ones to the deadly disease came together on Mother's Day to walk the Peabody Bikeway and raise awareness about the need to find a cure.

The Pink Power Walk began at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday and the walkers were a sea of pink and white as they made their way along the Peabody Bikeway. The funds raised were donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to support breast cancer research.

Photographer Christine Cloutier was there and captured many of the endearing images of volunteers who took the time to get some exercise and raise awareness about breast cancer in this week's Viewfinder.
