The winners of the Grade 3 “What Makes a Good Friend?” bookmark contest and the Grade 4 Positive andHealthy Living Essay Contest were recently selected and presented with their awards.

These Asset Building activities (www.search-institute.org) were part of Red Ribbon Week. Partnering with the Peabody Public Schools, HPC youth leaders, the Rotary Club of Peabody and the Peabody Police Department, we presented prizes that build Youth Assets to every elementary school in Peabody. Assets are qualities and experiences that are crucial to positive youth development and are the building blocks that help children grow to be healthy, caring and responsible.
