When Is Leaf Pickup In Peabody?
Residents may leave their leaf waste curbside in paper bags or barrels on their normal trash pickup day during designated weeks.
City of Peabody: Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. announced the dates forfall curbside leaf collection. Curbside pick-up of leaves is scheduled for the weeks of October 14th, October 28th , November 11th , November 25th , and December 9th . During these designated weeks only, residents may leave their leaf waste curbside in paper bags or barrels on their normal trash pickup day. No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted. Residents should note that haulers may pick up regular trash first and return later in the day for yard waste. There is no charge for curbside leaf collection.
Residents should also note they can take yard waste to the Department of Public Services, 50 Farm Avenue any weekday during regular business hours. The Department of Public Services is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
