Wildfire to Rock the Common
Latest concert in summer series takes place at the Leather City Common on Sunday.

Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt Jr. and the City of Peabody are pleased to announce the fifth concert of the Twenty Third Annual Summer Concert Series. This concert will be held at the Leather City Common located on Lowell Street on Sunday August 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This week the city welcomes Wildfire for their first appearance at the summer concert series.
Wildfire believes in putting on what some have described as a “concert”. Wildfire is a 5-piece band that packs the power of a 10-piece. The vocals and instrumentation are powerful and true to the artist’s recording.
Seeing the band at a live performance, is the only way to truly feel the energy and be part of the fun for which Wildfire is known. The band covers everything from the power houses of rock such as AC/DC and Journey to the likes of R&B greats, to the hip shaking sounds of Shakira and Lady Gaga.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and then sit down, relax and enjoy. In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled and rescheduled to a date to be announced. Please check the Timely Topics section on the city
website, www.peabody-ma.gov., or Peabody Access Television Channels 8, 9, and 99 for announcements regarding the concert.
Admission is free and this event is open to the public.
