GraVoc, founded by David and Catherine Gravel in 1994, is a technology-consulting firm located in Peabody. Its commitment to the community is as focused as its commitment to the ever-changing landscape of technology. GraVoc has been a proud YMCA supporter since its inception and was instrumental in the development of the YMCA “Where in the World Event”. Dave Gravel, the company CEO notes, “The event was about helping to raise money to provide camp or childcare for people that cannot afford such services. We were honored to be able to lead the charge in this initiative! We are committed to helping again next year and hope for an even bigger event!” GraVoc also sponsored the grand prize of the night which was “a trip for 2 anywhere in the world for dinner”, which was won by a Peabody couple who will be heading to Australia in August.
“The Y is grateful to volunteers like Cathy and Dave Gravel. When they are involved in a project, everything is successful. In addition, they bring with them a whole team of exceptional staff members. The Y is thrilled to work closely with Cathy, Dave and the entire GraVoc team,” notes Bruce Macdonald, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metro North.
