124 Violent Crimes in Plymouth in 2015: Feds
Newly released FBI data showed Plymouth had 124 violent crimes last year.
PLYMOUTH, MA — New federal data shows there were 124 violent crimes in Plymouth in 2015. Statewide, violent crimes were up slightly, though murders and rapes were down.
The data is from the FBI's latest Uniform Crime Report, which measured violent crime across the country in 2015. This is Plymouth's data:

These statistics inform law enforcement in budgeting and resource allocation decisions; they also influence anti-crime legislation. However, the FBI cautions against using them as a means of comparing one community to another or even the same community year-to-year due to the myriad factors at play like population density, the economy, and family conditions.
