Americana Theatre Company Presents The Three Musketeers

New adaptation a blades and corsets blockbuster theatrical adventure of epic magnitude

Americana Theatre Company (ATC), Plymouth’s professional theatre company, presents Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers from July 9 through 25, on Thursdays at 7 pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm at Spire Center for Performing Arts, 25 Court Street, Plymouth.

United against the dangerous Cardinal Richelieu, The Three Musketeers heroes fight to defend the King and protect the Queen. The Bristol Metro calls Ludwig’s new adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ timeless tale “Four stars out of four…a mixture of love, adventure and good old fashioned values.” This swashbuckling adventure will leave audiences of all ages cheering, “All for one, and one for all!”

Award winning guest director Marianne Savell and fight director Michael Kirkland (member, Society of American Fight Directors), team up to work with 13 professional actors with credits ranging from regional theatre to off-Broadway and 9 college interns hailing from California, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

The Three Musketeers features 4 ATC veterans: Derek Martin appears as Aramis (Off-Broadway: York Theatre Regional: Connecticut Rep, VA Stage, ATC: 39 Steps, Private Lives), Jesse Sullivan portrays Athos (National Tour-Scarlet Pimpernel, Miss Saigon, ATC: Inspector Calls, Redeeming Love, The Cottage, Moonlight and Magnolias), Joshua Nicholson performs a variety of characters including Rochefort (National Tour-Gilligan’s Island, PBS WorldGirl, ATC: 39 Steps, An Inspector Calls, Redeeming Love), and Jennifer Martin will portrays Milady De Winter (VA Musical Theatre, Sacramento Theatre, VA Rep, VA Shakespeare, ATC: The Cottage, Redeeming Love, 39 Steps, Private Lives).

An Opening Weekend Gala will be held immediately following the July 11 performance. All guests who attend the show that evening are welcome to attend the Gala.

Tickets for The Three Musketeers are $25 general admission, $20 for students. The production is recommended for ages 8 and up, group rates available. The Spire is handicap accessible, public parking is available street side, and in public lots in close proximity.
