Fresh off a Grammy win for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Mileage, Foster brings her soulful voice and deeply rooted musical style to Plymouth. Raised in Gause, Texas, she developed her sound through gospel traditions before building a nationally recognized career spanning more than a dozen albums.

Jazz fans can catch saxophonist Greg Abate and his quartet as part of The Spire’s Lobby Series. Known for his hard-bop style and energetic performances, Abate has been recognized by DownBeat readers as one of the country’s top alto sax players. He’ll be joined by pianist Chris Taylor, drummer Gary Johnson, and bassist Todd Baker for an intimate 70-seat performance presented by the Antonia and Vladimir Kulaev Cultural Heritage Fund.

Closing out the trio of shows, Geraci—winner of the Pinetop Perkins Piano Award—teams up with Whitfield, a dynamic performer often compared to legends like Little Richard and Wilson Pickett. Together, they promise a high-energy blend of blues, soul, and rock.

All performances take place at The Spire, located at 25½ Court Street in Plymouth. The venue is handicap accessible, with nearby street and public lot parking available.

Additional upcoming shows at The Spire include The Steel Wheels (May 1), BoDeans (May 2), Session Americana with Kris Delmhorst (May 8), and Shemekia Copeland (May 23), among others.

Tickets and full event details are available at spirecenter.org.
