Downtown Plymouth's premier venue for live entertainment, the Spire Center for Performing Arts, has announced five new fall events spanning film, blues, punk rock, holiday rock, and stand-up comedy.
Tickets for all five shows go on sale Saturday, August 1, at 6:00 a.m. online at spirecenter.org.
Newly Announced Fall Shows
- MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival (Sept. 30 & Oct. 1): The Spire Center's Film Series joins over 500 global venues to screen ten short films covering drama, comedy, and fantasy. Audience members will vote for Best Film and Best Actor, with worldwide winners announced on October 4.
- The Fabulous Thunderbirds (Nov. 5): Legendary harmonica virtuoso Kim Wilson leads "A Tribute to Chicago Blues," delivering a deep dive into traditional Chicago blues classics alongside the iconic band's hit signature sound.
- Nervous Eaters + Life on the Other Planet Documentary (Nov. 13): Boston 1970s punk icons Nervous Eaters perform live, followed by a screening of Vincent Straggas's Emmy-winning rock documentary and a live Q&A with the director and band members Steve Cataldo and Brad Hallen.
- Gary Ho! Ho! Hoey Rockin Holiday Show (Nov. 22): A holiday tradition for over three decades, instrumental rock pioneer Gary Hoey brings his high-energy, festive guitar show to Plymouth.
- Brad Mastrangelo (Nov. 27): A staple of the national comedy circuit and former writer for The Tonight Show, Mastrangelo takes the stage for a night of observational stand-up on family, marriage, and everyday life.
