Controversial condo project abandoned by Pulte Homes (plymouthindependent.org) β A large condo development near the North Plymouth waterfront has been dropped by Pulte Homes, ending a year of heated hearings and neighborhood opposition. Plymouth officials and residents who fought the 163-unit 40B project, citing traffic, environmental risks, and scale, are celebrating the decision after conservation commissioners denied key permits and the company chose not to appeal.

Plymouth County Hires Pembroke Law Firm to Investigate Former Employee's Hostile Work Environment Complaint (southshore.news subscription) β In a meeting held in Plymouth, county commissioners voted to hire Pembroke law firm Clifford & Kenny to investigate a former employee's hostile work environment complaint. After initial hesitation over costs and process, commissioners unanimously agreed an outside investigation was needed, with the county administrator now authorized to sign the firm's agreement so the inquiry can proceed.
