Plymouth's Spire Center for Performing Arts has added three new shows to its 2027 schedule, with tickets going on sale Saturday, October 17 at 6:00 a.m. Tickets for all Spire Center shows are available at spirecenter.org.

Hawk in the Nest, the music project of award-winning singer-songwriter Avi Jacob, performs Thursday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) as part of the Spire's Lobby Series. Nominated for Roots Act of the Year and Song of the Year by the New England Music Awards, Hawk in the Nest blends folk, pop, bluegrass and Americana with R&B, drawing on artists from Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon to Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, Nirvana and the Four Tops. Fiddler Jacqui Armbruster and upright bass player Johnny Santini have become regular members of the band. The Lobby Series showcases local and regional musicians in a relaxed, intimate setting and is presented by The Antonia and Vladimir Kulaev Cultural Heritage Fund.
