PLYMOUTH, MA — As October comes to a close, Plymouth residents have one final chance to give their unwanted items a second life.
The Plymouth Swap Shop is preparing to wrap up its season after months of accepting donations from residents.
Throughout the season, the shop has welcomed a variety of items, including toys, kitchenware, sports equipment, hand tools, books and musical instruments. The program gives residents an opportunity to clear out unwanted belongings while helping others in the community.
The shop's final day of the season is Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents looking to make one last donation can drop off items at 33 Hedges Pond Road from 9 a.m. to noon. Donations will not be accepted outside those hours.
This year, the Swap Shop is operated by the Plymouth Recycling Committee and Department of Public Works staff.
With the season coming to an end, residents have one last opportunity to declutter their homes, help their neighbors and keep reusable items from going to waste.
