Apparent Islamic Extremist Group Hacked Mass Maritime
The group goes by the name Moroccan Islamic Union.

Massachusetts Maritime Academy officials say the college’s website was hacked by what appears to be an Islamic extremist group.
NECN reported that the Bourne school’s president, Rear Adm. Richard Gurnon, said a group calling itself the Moroccan Islamic Union took over the website Monday and redirected visitors to a site showing a photograph of an American soldier’s grave, with audio of a man speaking Arabic.
The site was fixed but hacked again later that day, according to Boston.com

Gurnon said the site was taken down as state IT teams worked on it. He also said there’s no evidence the campus was ever in danger and no personal information was accessed.
The college website was inaccessible Wednesday.
