PLYMOUTH, MA – Artist Exposure Gallery is pleased to present a
two person exhibition by artists: Stephen L. King and Jay Sorcenelli.  The SLK vs. SNAFU “New Codes” show will run
from November 1, 2013 – December 18, 2013 with an opening reception First
Friday, November 1st from 7-9:00pm. 
The exhibition will also feature an active half pipe ramp sponsored by
The Surf Shop.

“New
Codes” is a unique collaboration between two artists, who met at Cedarville
Wine & Spirits in 2005 and have remained close friends since that time.  Engaged in a continuous nine-year discourse
about their individual artistic practices, this makes the first time Stephen
and Jay have worked together to release a full-scale joint exhibition.  “New Codes” will feature new, especially
conceived paintings and mixed media sculptures that explore unconventional
painting techniques such as color on color and multi patterned paintings.  Shape and line are driving forces.

For
both artists, the use of color is important and often explosive.  For this show color has been stripped away,
layered and re-added leaving versatility, skill and overall interesting whirl
and twirl in seas of vibrant color. 

“New
Codes” will run through December 18, 2013. 
The artists will be present at the opening reception Friday, November 1st
from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  Gallery hours are
Tuesday – Saturday 10-6:00 pm, Sunday 12 – 4:00 pm.  For additional information please contact
