Bass & Blue Seafood Smackdown

The fourth annual Plymouth 400 Bass and Blue Fishing Tournament is introducing the inaugural “Seafood Smackdown: Best Fish Taco” contest, a live cooking competition hosted by award-winning chef Ray Alongi at Pilgrim Memorial State Park on Saturday July 11, 2015. Local amateur chefs will create their best fish taco dishes in front of a live audience, and special guest judges, including humorist Loretta LaRoche and celebrity chef Susannah Locketti, will determine who will win the Seafood Smackdown grand prize package. This event is in partnership with the Project Arts Roots & Folk Festival in Pilgrim Memorial State Park, which is free and open to the public. The two chefs facing off will be chosen by their online entries by Chef Alongi, who was featured on the Food Network’s Hell’s Kitchen.
