Bomb Squad Called In For Suspicious Package Near Plymouth Rock
The suspicious package reported near Plymouth Rock turned out not to be a bomb, according to reports.

PLYMOUTH, MA — The suspicious package found early Saturday evening near Plymouth Rock, prompting police and fire to close down the area while they waited for the bomb squad, is not dangerous, according to multiple reports.
A backpack had the Fire Department on scene at Water Street, and the area was closed to car traffic while the bomb squad investigated, a number of people were tweeting Saturday night.
Plymouth Police did not immediately return request for comment. Updates to come.
