Bridgewater Man Killed In Crash On Route 44 In Plymouth

State Police said Reynold Cullman, 70, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth Saturday night.

PLYMOUTH, MA — State Police said a Bridgewater man succumbed to injuries suffered in a two-car crash on Route 44 in Plymouth on Saturday. Police said Reynold Cullman, 70, was taken to Beth Israel Hospital with serious injuries that he did not survive.

Police said the 59-year-old driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the crash.

Police said they responded to the crash out of the Norwell Barracks to the crash on Route 44 Eastbound west of Route 3. Plymouth EMS and fire also responded to the collision involving a 2007 Dodge Ram with a utility trailer and the 2003 Pontiac Montana that Cullman was driving.

Police said an investigation determined that Cullman was crossed over the median and entered the eastbound lanes where his minivan struck the Dodge's trailer. Cullman then crashed into a concrete barrier.

The crash is under investigation by State Police Troop D and the Plymouth County State Police Detective Unit.
