Calling For Nominations of Outstanding Plymouth County Volunteers for the 2014 President's Volunteer Service Awards

Plymouth--Mayflower RSVP, Inc., a designated national certifying organization for the 2014 President’s Volunteer Service Awards, is seeking nominations of Plymouth County residents who have served at least 4,000 hours sharing their time and talents through a variety of organizations in their communities throughout their lifetimes.

Once nominees’ volunteer service has been vetted, awardees will be invited to attend an Awards Dinner & Auction, which will be held on October 26, 2014 at Waverly Oaks Golf Club in Plymouth, where they will receive a pin and a personal letter of thanks from the President of the United States. Families and friends will be welcomed and encouraged to attend the Awards Dinner & Auction to celebrate with awardees.
“The President’s Volunteer Service Award is the premier volunteer awards program, encouraging United States citizens to live a life of service,” said Darcy Lee, Executive Director of Mayflower RSVP. “We hope that this recognition of awardees will inspire others to take positive action to change the world,” Lee said.
