Cape Cod Motorcycle Vs. U-Haul Crash: 1 Critical
Yarmouth police said a 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash involving a U-Haul truck.
YARMOUTH, MA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a U-Haul truck in Yarmouth Wednesday, according to police. The motorcyclist was identified as a 20-year-old Yarmouth man. He was medflighted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and listed in critical condition.
The U-Haul driver was identified as a 38-year-old Plymouth man. Police said the truck driver was going south on Forest Road then attempted to turn left on to Captain Bearse Road when his vehicle collided with the motorcyclist, who was traveling north on Forest Road.
The cause of the crash was under investigation, police said.
