Coastal Medical Transportation Services Continues Growth With Addition Of Michael Pieretti as Chief Operating Officer
Pieretti brings strong background of ambulance and transportation services to company

South Yarmouth, MA (June 26, 2015) - Coastal Medical Transportation Services (CMTS), a medical transportation company offering a personalized experience to every client, has announced that experienced leader Michael Pieretti will be the new Chief Operating Officer.
Michael will work closely with senior CMTS leadership to craft and implement a vision and direction for the company, utilizing more than 11 years of professional experience in ambulance transport and the education of EMS providers. He will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of CMTS’s operational and clinical infrastructure, ensuring reliability and growth of the company.

Previously, Michael has served as an EMT and then paramedic with Professional Ambulance Service of Cambridge, Massachusetts. During his time at “Pro,” Michael not only worked as an ambulance field provider, but was involved in educating paramedic students and interns through direct teaching in the classroom and laboratory environments and through developing curriculum and educational multimedia.
Most recently, Michael has worked for Boston MedFlight as a Critical Care Transport EMT. His role at that organization expanded to include healthcare simulation, where he utilized his fluency with related technologies and experience in education to create novel solutions in high-fidelity human patient simulation for critical care transport nurses and paramedics.

“I am thrilled to join the CMTS team and, even though it’s cliché, bring my experience to the table,” commented Michael Pieretti. “I should mention that there are already many outstanding professionals at this table, and I look forward to working and continuing to grow the company with them.”
Michael’s foundational education includes emergency medical technician (EMT) and subsequent paramedic training at Cape Cod Community College, completing his clinical internship predominantly at Cape Cod Hospital, and field internship at the Yarmouth and Dennis fire departments. He was raised in Yarmouth, Massachusetts and currently resides with his fiancé in the South Coast area of Massachusetts.
