Dermatology Staff Additions & Promotions at South Shore Skin Center

PLYMOUTH, MA -- The partners at South Shore Skin Center & Medical Spa have announced the following staff additions and promotions to its medical team in Plymouth and Norwell. Celebrating 30 years of exceptional dermatology care, South Shore Skin Center offers the latest advancements in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services.

Three additional Board Certified Dermatologists -- Dr. Glenn A. Dobecki, Dr. Ricardo Pollitt and Dr. Tivon I. Sidorsky -- have recently been added to the medical staff. Nicole I. Giardino, who joined South Shore Skin Center in 2010 as a Staff Nurse, is now a fully trained Nurse Practitioner.

• Glenn A. Dobecki, MD is a Board Certified Dermatologist. Prior to joining South Shore Skin Center, he was a solo practitioner. He earned his doctoral degree from Indiana University. He completed his dermatology residency at University Hospital in Boston. He was a Staff Dermatologist at Bethesda Naval Hospital for two years. Dr. Dobecki is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, Boston Dermatological Club, the Dermatology Foundation, the Society of Investigative Dermatology, the New England Dermatologic Society, the American Medical Association and Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. He is on staff at South Shore Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Dr. Dobecki sees patients in Plymouth.

• Ricardo Pollitt, MD, PHD is a Board Certified Dermatologist and honors graduate of both the University of North Carolina and Amherst College. He earned an M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He has been widely published, is fluent in three languages, and served in AmeriCorps NCCC. Dr. Pollitt is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is on staff at South Shore Hospital. Dr. Pollitt sees patients in both Plymouth and Norwell.

• Tivon I. Sidorsky, MD, MBA is a Board Certified Dermatologist whose practice includes medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. After graduating with honors from Wesleyan University, Dr. Sidorsky received his medical training at Dartmouth Medical School, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, and was named a Syversten Scholar for his academic excellence, humanitarianism and community service. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California-San Francisco. Dr. Sidorsky has published research in clinical dermatology, innovative clinic modeling and infectious disease in leading dermatology/internal medicine journals and dermatology textbooks. Dr. Sidorsky is an active member of AOA, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, and the New England Dermatological Society. He is on staff at South Shore Hospital. Dr. Sidorsky sees patients in both Plymouth and Norwell.

• Nicole I. Giardino, APRN, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in medical and cosmetic dermatology. After several years at South Shore Skin Center as a Registered Nurse, Nicole earned her degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (both from the Regis College School of Nursing), a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the Lawrence Memorial / Regis College Nursing Program. Nicole is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurses Association and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Her prior experience includes work in nursing, sales, health systems management and healthcare consulting. Ms. Giardino sees patients in both Plymouth and Norwell.
