Downtown Parking Spots Closed During Repainting

In an effort to clearly delineate parking spaces downtown, painting crews will restripe parking stalls for Park Plymouth Monday Sept. 24 from 2–9 a.m.

Painting will take place on both sides of the street, beginning at Main Street Extension, heading north through to Samoset Street. Work is rolling, and a police detail will be on site to help with traffic flow. People may park in stalls once painting is complete in designated areas. Work is expected to last approximately 6 hours. Please plan your parking accordingly as vehicles parked on either side of the street from 2 a.m. forward risk being towed at the owner’s expense. For your convenience, free parking is available in both the Jenney Pond and Russell Street lots. In case of inclement weather, striping will take place the following day.
