DUI Checkpoint Announced for Plymouth County
A DUI checkpoint was announced for Plymouth County. Please share!

PLYMOUTH, MA — A sobriety checkpoint will be held somewhere in Plymouth County next week.
State Police will conduct the roadblock the night of Fri., May 27.
Per usual policy, the exact location or time frame of the checkpoint was not divulged.

“The purpose is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public’s awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways,” State Police Superintendent Richard McKeon said in a statement. “It will be operated during varied hours, the selection of vehicles will not be arbitrary, safety will be assured, and any inconveniences to motorists will be minimized with advance notice to reduce fear and anxiety.“
The effort is funded through a state grant.
