Background: I am a longtime resident of Plymouth. I grew up here, and graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School.Β I have a Bachelorβs Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College.

I recently served on the Strategic Plan and Redistricting committee for the Plymouth Public Schools as well as others through out the years.
I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National PTA. I am a former President of the Massachusetts PTA as well and past president and member of local PTAs.
I serve on a Parent and Community advisory board to the Mass Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. I also serve on several educational committees through out the Commonwealth.
Reasons for running: I am a mother of three children in the Plymouth School system. I have a daughter in elementary school, a son in middle school and a son in high school. Next year I will have one child in each high school. This combined with over 10 years experience advocating for children and public education make me uniquely qualified for this position.
I am connected to the schools on a daily basis and feel that this gives me a perspective in order to makes educated decisions for our schools. I have had an opportunity to have input and be involved in the process of making the policies on a National Level that are effecting us and we are implementing on a local level. It will be an honor to serve on the Plymouth School Committee.
