Finding Early Plymouth: A View from Burial Hill

The Plymouth Antiquarian Society invites the public to a free tour of Burial Hill to be held Saturday, April 7th at 1 pm. Many visitors appreciate the scenic vistas observed from Burial Hill's steep slopes. Dr. Karin Goldstein of Plimoth Plantation offers an intriguing historical overview of early Plymouth from this exceptional vantage point. Finding Early Plymouth: A View from Burial HillΒ is part of the Antiquarian Society's new program,Β Burial Hill: History in ProgressΒ that will continue through the year 2020. Each year the Society will present a series of history expeditions on Burial Hill, one of America's oldest and most significant burying grounds. Tours will be offered on the first Saturday of every month at 1 pm (excepting January). Local historians Peg Baker, Stephen O'Neill and Karin Goldstein join Antiquarian Director Donna Curtin as tour guides, sharing theirΒ individual expertise on aΒ range of topics.
