Be your own detective during an exclusive paranormal investigation of the historic Spooner House in Plymouth, MA. Built around 1749, the house is one of the oldest structures on picturesque North Street, and was home to one family, the Spooners, for over two hundred years. The first Spooner to occupy the house was Deacon Ephraim Spooner, a successful local merchant and patriot during the American Revolution. The Deacon's descendants, including mariners, farmers, abolitionists, reformers, and merchants, lived here into the 1950s. Guides steeped in Spooner family lore will help you seek out strange anomalies and invisible energies in the nooks and crannies of the centuries-old house. Bring your own cordless hand-held equipment and be a DIY ghost hunter, or observe the tools and techniques of your guide. Tour participants may also encounter card readers and mediums who will offer a peek into the future.
Spooner House Ghost Tours will be held on Sunday, October 30th, at 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm. Admission is $30 per person. Prepaid reservations are required. All proceeds benefit the Plymouth Antiquarian Society and its historic sites.
