Independence Mall’s 7th Annual People’s Choice Chili Cook-off to benefit the Rachel Souza Scholarship Fund

Independence Mall is proud to announce the 7th annual Independence Mall Peoples Choice Chili Cook-off.  The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday March 24.

 Anyone may can sample and vote on their favorite chili for a $5 donation. The first 100 Paid admissions will also receive a Boston Masspass saving book filled with hundreds of coupons from area businesses (a $20 Value). Proceeds from admission and entry fees will go directly to the Rachel Souza Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund awards scholarship money annually to worthy Silver Lake student(s). 

Restaurants, nonprofits and tndividuals are encouraged to enter their best chili for a $25 entry fee. For more information please call David DesRochers at the mall office 781-585-8900.
