This March, the Kingston Public Library will exhibit the photographs of Mark Grimason. In this exhibit, βFeathers and Fur, South Shore Wildlife and Beyondβ, he expresses through photography his enduring interest in the natural world. Among the wildlife that will be featured are moose, foxes, deer and birds.
Mark, a 1977 graduate of Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., has been a Kingston resident for 28 years. True to his love of wildlife and the environment, he is a member of the Mass. Audubon Society, Jones River Watershed, North and South River Watershed and the Wildlands Trust.
A reception for Mark will be held on Saturday, March 3, from 2 pm to 4 pm in the childrenβs activities room. The reception is free and open to all, and refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on view in the Libraryβs Gallery throughout March. The Library is open on Mondays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
