Middle School Monster Jam Lets Teens Explore Their Inner Rock Star

Calling all middle school instrumentalists and singers to rehearse, jam and perform live all in one night!

South Shore Conservatory invites middle school students in grades 6 to 8 to kick off the new school year and rock out with their friends at Middle School Monster Jam, 7 - 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 26 at South Shore Conservatory. All musicians - horns, winds, strings, rhythm and voice - will experience break-out coaching sessions with South Shore Conservatory instructors. They’ll master the rhythm and riffs of the popular rock tune "Hey Soul Sister" in a night loaded with performance tips and microphone technique exploration.Β  Parents are invited back at the end of the night for all-instrument Monster Jam.

Performers must take their own instruments, drum kits and sound system will be provided. Take a friend and be entered to win a cool door prize. Call-ahead registration is recommended, admission is $5 per performer, parents are admitted free for the night-ending performance.
