Plymouth Oceanside Reception to support the Massachusetts Democratic Party

Join Democrats from across the region on Tuesday, Sept. 20th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm for a special fundraising reception at "Oceanside", the home of the late Reverend Professor Peter J. Gomes
15 Winter Street, Plymouth
$25 per person
Proceeds will benefit the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Highlights include remarks by Chairman John Walsh and Senate President Therese Murray, stunning views of Plymouth harbor, and a last chance to see the beautiful estate of the late Rev. Gomes, complete with his memorabilia collection, before its closure this fall. Hear more about Scott Brown's alarming voting record, the reasons we must meet the critical challenge of winning the Senate race in 2012, and how you can help.

Raised in Plymouth, Rev. Peter Gomes was a Harvard minister and internationally-known spiritual leader who demonstrated the Democratic ideals of tolerance, social justice, and thoughtful engagement throughout his life and his teachings. We are grateful for the unique opportunity to host this special evening at his home as we all begin the important work of returning the Massachusetts Senate seat to a Democrat who will champion those same ideals every day.

Hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and other refreshments offered. Advance RSVPS greatly appreciated. Please share with friends - All are welcome.

Host Committee:
Senate President Therese Murray
State Representative Tom Calter, Greg Hanley, Kathy LaLond, Amy Loring Belmore, Plymouth County Treasurer Tom O'Brien, Kevin O'Reilly, Daniel Sanks, Linda Tassinari, Ken & Maggie Tavares, and Loring Tripp
