Come visit the historical West Barnstable Railway Station and Train Museum and step back in time to a place that was the center of village activity in West Barnstable in 1911. Scenic Train Rides tickets on sale at station - $16 Adults $14 Seniors $11 Children, under 3 free when sitting on lap. Check train schedule on www.capetrain.com or call. Usually departs 9:25am and 12:25pm from West Barnstable Train Station. Ride the Cape Cod Central rail from West Barnstable Station up to the Cape Cod Canal and back with a narrated scenic tour, passing cranberry bogs, marshlands and the canal for about an hour and ten minute ride. Snack bar and restrooms available. The Cape Cod Chapter, National Railway Historical Society leases the train station from the town and operates and maintains the station.
