Springtime Social for Seniors

Wednesday, March 30, the Plymouth Public Library’s Outreach/Senior Services Department will host the sixth annual Springtime Social for Seniors. This fun-filled event will be held from 2 to 4p.m. in the Library’s Otto Fehlow Meeting Room at 132 South Street, Plymouth.

The Springtime Social is an informal gathering where Plymouth-area seniors come together to enjoy the camraderie of friends, play games to compete for fun prizes, and enjoy light refreshments. Games typically include an “icebreaker” to help the attendees get acquainted with one another, trivia questions to exercise the brain, and some sort of timed relay to get seniors up from their chairs and moving around.

The Springtime Social is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Guests may pre-register for the event by calling the Outreach Department at 508-830-4250, ext. 219, or TTY at 508-747-5882. Guests can also register online by clicking on the "Calendar of Events" link at the Library's homepage, www.plymouthpubliclibrary.org, then clicking on the date of the event.

For more information on the Springtime Social, please call Sharon LaRosa, 508-830-4250, ext. 219. The Library is fully accessible; please let us know in advance if you require special accommodations in order to attend.
